| Puppies |
|
| During the first few weeks use a moistened, soft mixture (one part warm milk or water to two parts River Run Hi-Pro No-Soy) and feed three times daily. Gradually reduce the amount of liquid in the mixture as your puppies grow older during the first six months, until you reach the liquid level recommended for adult dogs or until they accept River Run in its dry form. During the second six months feed the puppies twice daily, and at the end of the first year begin feeding as recommended for adult dogs. The quantity of River Run that your dog will eat each day will, of course, vary with the breed, size, and activity level. Use the basic chart below as a guide and vary the amount you feed according to your dog's appetite. Feed adult dogs once daily or you may choose to use a self-feeder (use dry form only) and make River Run available to your dog at all times. Most dogs will adjust their intake to meet their requirements. |
